New Met Shintaro Fujinami makes his way through the Clover Park complex. The Mets didn’t have a single pitch thrown over 100 mph in 2023. Fujinami, however, had 136 pitches of at least 100 mph in 2023.

Edwin Díaz throws a bullpen session along Manaea. Díaz returns in 2024 after missing all of the 2023 season when he suffered a torn patellar tendon in the World Baseball Classic. He signed a five-year, $102 million contract in the 2022 offseason,

Sean Manaea has entered the conversation! The new Mets pitcher struggled in the first half of his 2023 campaign, but after adding a sweeper into his pitch repertoire and regaining some velocity, found success once more.

Fans will be able to attend open workouts starting Wednesday, February 14 at 9:30 am. For more information, click here. They are free and parking is as well on non-game days. On game days, parking is $15.
Kodai Senga gets in a workout early in the morning. Senga was one of the first players to report to Port St. Lucie as he wanted to re-acclimate to life in the United States after spending the offseason in Japan.

Former first-round catcher Kevin Parada arrives at Clover Park. Parada finished the 2023 season in Double-A Binghamton but spent most of his time in Brooklyn. His combined line for the season in all levels was .248/.324/.428/.751.

It’s the most wonderful time of the year. Pitchers and catchers report Monday to Clover Park in Port St. Lucie, Florida, signaling the start of the baseball season. While some players have already arrived at camp, Monday will be the first full glimpse at the plethora of pitchers and catchers on the Mets’ roster.
MMO will update you on all the arrivals and news throughout the day below. For now, here are some key dates to keep in mind:

Kodai Senga looks to follow up his impressive rookie season in 2024. He finished second in ROY voting after posting a 2.98 ERA in 2023, punching out 202 batters in 166 innings of work and finishing in the 98th percentile in offspeed run value at 11. Sound the trumpets because Edwin Díaz returns after missing all of 2023 with a torn patellar tendon.
