On the first ever pitch (91 MPH fastball) Tim Tebow saw in a professional game, he hit a solo home run off St. Louis Cardinals prospect John Kilichowski.

The left-handed Kilichowski was the Cardinals’ 2016 11th round pick out of Vanderbilt. He made nine starts and two relief appearances this year between the Midwest League and the New York-Penn League.

Overall, Kilichowski was 2-4 with a 2.70 ERA and a 1.16 WHIP. It should be noted that in his short minor league career, lefties were hitting .438 off Kilichowski.

In Tebow’s following two at-bats, he grounded into a double play and grounded out to the shortstop. So far, he is 1-4 on the day while playing left field.

On Monday, Tebow took all his teammates out to dinner, and then a movie on Tuesday after their workout.
