I kick off the symbolic start of the baseball season with my “Pitchers & Catchers” show. Spring is in the air at Port St. Lucie where Noah Syndergaard, Matt Harvey and Robert Gsellman all reported to camp and joined their other teammates who had reported earlier. Both Harvey and Syndergaard were all smiles and each of them looked to be in great physical shape.
Former Mets pitching coach Rick Peterson joins me to discuss his new book “Crunch Time: How to be at Your Best When it Matters the Most.” Rick shares coaching tactics he used in professional baseball that translate into any workplace.
I also talk about my concerns with David Wright, why the Mets are handling Zack Wheeler and Michael Conforto properly and how Terry Collins needs to learn from his mistakes of last spring.
