A week after it appeared the Mets and Mickey Callaway were about to spiral out of control, they are now back to .500.

With the help of Carlos Gomez, Rajai Davis, Adeiny Hechavarria and friends the club finished off a 6-1 homestand. Now things get interesting as they head west for a 7-game stretch between against the Dodgers and D-Backs. Can the Mets use this adversity as a jump-start to their season or is it a stay of execution for the inevitable?

Justin Toscano of The Record joins the program to talk about the task ahead, how the Mets can use these injuries as a spark, and his article about how Dominic Smith has worked on being successful despite the lack of playing time.
