governor Chris Christie-at-Mets

The Star-Ledger writes that Gov. Chris Christie would love for Sandy Alderson to step aside so that he could take over as the general manager of the Mets.

“I would love to be general manager of the Mets,” Christie told WFAN. “If Sandy would put his crap in boxes and get out of there now, I’d be happy to go there now.”

Christie, often attends games at Citi Field, and is a huge and passionate Mets fan who often voices his hate for the Phillies and Yankees.

Like most of us, Christie is not very happy with what he sees on the field these days.

“I texted my son after they lost one of the games this week: ‘It is impossible to watch,'” Christie reportedly said. “It is impossible to watch. Just when you care about them as much as I do, it’s hard to watch sometimes.”

Christie is also a big New York Rangers fan, but his focus is with the Amazins.

“I’m not worried about the Rangers,” he said. “But can Lucas Duda get going? Can Chris Young hit his weight?”

LOL – That’s hilarious!
