So You Think You Know The Mets: We Are The Champions!

On October 16th, 1969 at Shea Stadium, in front of 57,367 delirious fans the New York Mets wrote the final chapter of what is still today one of the most compelling “rags-to-riches” stories in Major League Baseball history.

The Lovable Losers, however improbable, however shocking, and however inexplicable, were now the champions of the world.

I’m dedicating this week’s quiz to the players responsible for bring that first World Series title to our neck of the woods, Flushing, New York.

There were 35 different players who suited up for the Mets in the magical and memorable season. How many of these players can you name in seven minutes?
