According to Jon Morosi and Robert Murray of Fan Rag on Twitter, the San Francisco Giants are in agreement with free agent left-hander Tony Watson on a multi-year deal.

Watson, 32, split the 2017 season between the Pittsburgh Pirates and Los Angeles Dodgers, appearing in 71 games, logging a 3.38 ERA, 4.45 FIP, 1.380 WHIP and 128 ERA+ in 66.2 innings pitched.

Earlier this week, it was reported that the two sides were negotiating a contract, though no advancements were made until early Saturday morning when the deal was reported.

Watson was the top southpaw left on the market and after a slow offseason, he finally finds a home.

The seven-year veteran is represented by the Boras Corportation.
