The Mets (70-92) dropped the season finale against the Philadelphia Phillies (66-96) by a score of 11-0 at Citizens Bank Park.

Pitching:

Noah Syndergaard got the ball Sunday with a pitch count limit of 25. In two innings of work, he struck out two and walked one to close out his season on a high note.

Chris Flexen came on in relief and was charged with six runs (five earned) in 1 1/3 innings. He struck out two and walked out three as his ERA inflated to 7.88.

Kevin McGowan held the Phillies at bay over 1 2/3 innings, but Rafael Montero surrendered yielded five more in 2 2/3 innings to cap off an 11-0 rout to conclude the season.

Offense:

The Mets bats were silent against Nick Pivetta and crew as Philadelphia held the Mets to just two hits.
