The next inning, Wilmer Flores tripled to leadoff the inning and came home on a sacrifice-fly from Travis d’Arnaud.
In the eighth inning, Wilmer Flores doubled to begin the frame. T.J. Rivera came off the bench and hit a two-run home run to give the Mets a 6-1 lead.
In the ninth inning, Eric O’Flaherty loaded the bases with two outs and proceeded to give up a two-run double to Juan Lagares. Lagares was switched into the game in the bottom of the eighth inning for defense.
