Ramon Castro, who has been on the disabled list with a strained right quadriceps, is expected to come off the disabled list for tonight’s game.

Castro has been on the DL since Aug. 27.

In 43 games, Castro is batting .242 with seven homeruns and 24 RBI’s.

He does have a penchant for being a clutch hitter and nice right handed bat off the bench. That being said, it always seems like he is hurt, and if the Mets decide not to bring him back next season, I’m totally fine with it.
