The season might be over but the Pleasantcast keeps rolling! On this special episode of PGE, Jack (@jackhendon_) and I (@SamLebo14) try to find some answers for what exactly went wrong this weekend in Washington, and during this season overall. Spoiler: there is a lot.

We also open up the mailbag and see what you guys thought was the Mets’ most painful loss of the season. Thank you so much for your responses.

We then discuss Rick Porcello‘s heartfelt apology, Brandon Nimmo‘s comments about Steve Cohen, and Luis Rojas‘ job security. After that, we discuss some possible names to keep an eye on for the Mets’ possibly, soon-to-be vacant GM job.

And it is the end of the regular season, which means its prediction time! Jack and I give our World Series picks. And to finish things off, we remember some guys and throw it back to a special left-hander’s grittiest performance in orange and blue.

Jack and I are so happy to have brought you the pod over the final six weeks of the season. We have plenty of ideas for shows during the offseason. We hope you will continue to follow along and listen! Make sure to check out our Twitter @PGEPod_MMO as always. Enjoy, Mets fans!
