Happy Monday Mets fans! It’s the 15th episode of your favorite Mets podcast and there was lots to talk about this week!
Jack and I first talked about last week’s non-tender deadline in which the Mets hung on to four players and cut loose four more. We give our thoughts and bring back Hot or Not to discuss the slew of new free agents who got let go last week.
Then we talk about new Mets reliever Trevor May and why we are both so high on the signing. We also think it would be neat to have Trevor on the podcast. Let’s make that happen.
After that, we discuss the Mets catching situation in light of the recent James McCann four-year-contract rumors. We both have opinion, as does my cat. You’ll know what I mean when you listen.
We finish out the week by talking about the Phillies crying poor (again) and remembering some guys!
