Per Ken Rosenthal on Twitter, the Phillies have acquired Dodgers’ second baseman/outfielder Howie Kendrick.
The Dodgers will receive 1B Darin Ruf and 2B Darnell Sweeney in return.
Kendrick, who has played second base most of his career, played left field exclusively for the Dodgers this season. He slashed .255/.326/.366 with eight home runs, 40 RBIs, and 10 stolen bases.
