MMO TOP 25 PROSPECTS

Here they are, all gathered together in one place. MMO presents to you our 2014 Top 25 Mets Prospects. We love the job that our minor league analyst Pete Anselmo did in producing our Top 25 this year. Let’s give him a nice round of applause.

Looking back at last year’s rankings, Noah Syndergaard replaces Zack Wheeler at the top spot in 2014, while Travis d’Arnaud retains the No. 2 spot. Rafael Montero jumped six spots, climbing up from No. 9 in 2013 to No. 3 this year.

Prospects who fell out of the top ten from last year include Michael Fulmer (#15), Jeurys Familia (#14), and Domingo Tapia (#18).

On the flip side, Kevin Plawecki climbed from No. 19 to No. 5, and Cesar Puello rose from No. 22 to No. 7. 2013 first rounder Dominic Smith debuts at the No. 4 spot as we expect great things from this youngster. And Steven Matz and Amed Rosario also make their debut in the Top 10.

We hope you enjoyed our presentation this year, and we look forward to watching all these promising players deliver some exciting seasons in 2014. Let’s Go Mets!
