Let’s see, do I have everything? Lap-top, check. Digital camera, check. Voice recorder check. Sandwiches check. Cell phone, of course, looks like I’m ready to go! New Britain here I come and I will be preceded by the Double-A version of a wrecking crew from Binghamton known as the B-Mets.

I sent word ahead, a little advanced warning so-to-speak, when I reached out to Matt den Dekker today and told him I would be at these next four games, and asked him if he would have a little time to answer some questions for our readers at MMO. He said he would have some time, and seeing as he is red-hot with the bat right now and simply scorching the ball to the tune of a .386/.429/.636 slash line in his last ten games, with five doubles, two HR’s and eight RBI’s, I better keep my distance in case he spontaneously combusts.

There should be lots of interesting B-Mets tid-bits coming your way here on MMO all this week. I’m going to go the distance for you to answer once and for all your burning B-Mets questions. Where does Zack Wheeler think he is in his development as a pitcher? What adjustments have Jefry Marte, Eric Campbell, and Armando Rodriguez made in order to have such success this year? How is Reese Havens feeling? How does Greg Peavey feel about his first go-round in double-A? How long will Jenrry Mejia and Collin McHugh be at double-A?

Inquiring Mets-minds want to know. Well, I’m out the door, hittin’ the road now, we’ll see you in New Britain stay tuned…….
