Are you freaking kidding me!

Mets second baseman Daniel Murphy crushed a third-inning solo home run into the center-field bleachers in Game 3 of the National League Championship Series on Tuesday against the Cubs.

Murphy joins Carlos Beltran as the only players in postseason history to homer in five consecutive games. Beltran did it with the Houston Astros back in 2004.

Additionally, Murphy now has six homers in this postseason, establishing a new Mets record for most home runs in a single postseason, besting Mike Piazza who held the record with five.

Murphy’s string of six straight games with an RBI is also a new franchise record, passing Edgardo Alfonzo who had five-straight in 2000.
