Last night, the New York Yankees defeated the Minnesota Twins by a score of 8-4 in the Bronx. Yankees starter Luis Severino could record only one out in the first as the Twins pounced on him for three runs. After Didi Gregorius tied the game with a three-run homer in the bottom of the inning, the Yankees bullpen was lights out for the rest of the game. Add home runs by Brett Gardner and Aaron Judge and it was all Yankees last night.

Tonight, the Arizona Diamondbacks will host the Colorado Rockies in the NL Wild Card game. Zack Greinke will face Jon Gray at 8:10 p.m.
