The Chicago Cubs will play Game 2 of the NLCS tonight as they send Jon Lester to the mound to face Rich Hill. The game starts at 7:30 p.m. and will air on TBS.

Last night, the ALCS resumed play and the NLCS started up. In Game 2 of the former, the Houston Astros defeated the New York Yankees 2-1 in walk-off fashion. Carlos Correa drove in both runs and Jose Altuve scored the winning tally as he went from first to home on a double to the right-center field gap. Justin Verlander threw a complete game while striking out 13 batters.

In Game 1 of the NLCS, the Los Angeles Dodgers defeated the Chicago Cubs 5-2 after trailing early. Yasiel Puig drove in two runs including a homer in the seventh inning. Kenta Maeda received the win in relief and Kenley Jansen recorded a four-out save.
