Callaway, 42, was very jovial in his press conference. Callaway was named after Mickey Mantle and his brother was named after Casey Stengel, two New York icons. Callaway plans on reaching out to all the Mets and put an emphasis on player relations.
Mark DeRosa was the unnamed sixth candidate in the running for Mets manager. Certainly an interesting choice for the Mets.
