Good Morning Mets Fans. The New York Mets (7-3) continue their series in Miami (4-5) tonight as they send their ace, Noah Syndergaard to the mound to take on Edinson Volquez.

Tonight’s game is scheduled to begin at 7:10 PM ET and can be seen on SNY as well as heard on 710 WOR.

Last night saw the Mets come out victorious in a thrilling contest in which they won by a score of 9-8 in 16 innings. Travis d’Arnaud clocked a thunderous homer to put the Mets up for good and had a career night in Miami. D’Arnaud was 4-for-6 on the night with four RBI. On top of the homer, he also had himself a bases clearing triple that helped the Mets get back in the game early on after trailing 4-0 after the first. Read more from Ken Davidoff in the NY Post.

The Mets activated Juan Lagares off the disabled list on Wednesday and sent down reliever, Paul Sewald as their corresponding move. The team opted to keep Michael Conforto up on the Major League roster even though he is not receiving regular playing time at this point.
