We made it through one of the most tumultuous offseasons in recent history. This winter, the Mets hired/fired/hired their manager, sold/unsold their team, and dealt with one boar-related news story. Let’s hope that the regular season won’t be as turbulent and that the Mets have a successful 2020 campaign.

The Dodgers, Red Sox, and Twins finally completed their blockbuster deal, culminating with Mookie Betts, David Price, Brusdar Graterol, Luke Raley, and cash considerations all being sent to Los Angeles. The Red Sox will receive Alex Verdugo, Jeter Downs, and Connor Wong while the Twins will acquire swingman Kenta Maeda and $10M dollars. Ken Rosenthal of The Athletic and Jeff Passan of ESPN tweeted out the news throughout the evening.

Rosenthal also adds that the Dodgers/Angels trade involving Joc Pederson has not and will not transpire.

Kiley McDaniel of ESPN reports that the White Sox and international free agent Norge Vera have agreed to a one-year, $1.5 million dollar deal.
