In his press conference, Lindor stated that he’s ready to bring some smiles to New York, and that he’s ready to work, and he’s ready to win. Hopefully Mets fans will be able to see him play sooner than later.
Commissioner Rob Manfred told teams on Monday to prepare for Spring Training to start on time in 2021, and for there to be a full 162-game season. Many teams, including the Mets, are planning for limited capacity in stadiums this season. For Mets Spring Training, Clover Park in Port Saint Lucie is planning for 2,000 fans in park.
