Good Morning, Mets fans!

Today, the New York Mets (38-42) will go for the sweep against against the Phillies (26-53).  Rafael Montero will start for the Mets and Nick Pivetta will pitch for the Phillies.

The Mets won yesterday by a score of 7-6.

The bullpen had to go 4 1/3 innings and was pretty good aside from Fernando Salas, who allowed a three-run homer to Tommy Joseph.

They were trailing 6-3 in the bottom of the seventh and staged a comeback. T.J. Rivera homered, Travis d’Arnaud doubled, Wilmer Flores singled and Asdrubal Cabrera homered in a span of about five minutes.

They held onto the lead after a rain-delay in the top of the eighth inning, thanks in large part to Addison Reed‘s four-out save.
