Morning Briefing: Mets Trip to Syracuse Delayed

Good Morning Mets fans. Only two more days until Opening Day!

The Mets plane was Tampa Bay to Syracuse was delayed by three and half hours with an expected arrival time of close to midnight.

Mets will have their final workout before the regular season on Tuesday from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Dome at Syracuse University.

Zack Wheeler struggled in his final Spring Training tune-up, but Dominic Smith smacked a clutch two-out ninth-inning blast as the Mets emerged victorious 9-7. Pete Alonso, David Thompson, and Jeff McNeil all went yard as well.
