The Mets dropped Game 2 to the Braves 3-1 on Saturday. The rubber match is on Sunday at 1:40 p.m. ET. The Mets will send right-hander Freddy Peralta to the mound against Braves right-hander Bryce Elder as the Mets look to claim the series.
In other New York news, the Knicks won their first NBA championship since 1973 on Saturday. They had another comeback win over the San Antonio Spurs, 94-90, winning the series 4-1.
While the Knicks’ championship drought is over, the Mets will continue looking to end theirs that’s been alive since 1986.
