Good morning, Mets fans!

On Friday, the Mets received updates on three injured pitchers. Most important of the group was Justin Verlander, who threw four scoreless innings in a rehab assignment with Double-A Binghamton on Friday afternoon. After the game, Verlander said he felt good and is ready to go. He is likely to return to the Mets and make his debut with the team in the series against the Tigers next week.

Stephen Nogosek also said he is good to go and is eligible to be activated off the injured list on Sunday. Meanwhile, José Quintana played catch for the first time since his rib surgery and said he experienced no pain at all. He will still be sidelined for a while with an expected return date in July.
