Good morning, Mets fans!

On Friday night, the New York Mets (60-56) defeated the Washington Nationals (61-54) in an amazing comeback  7-6 win that showed exactly why Mets’ fans believe again. Marcus Stroman made his Mets’ debut at Citi Field in front of an already electric crowd. After being down three runs, the Mets offense came alive in the bottom of the ninth inning to prove the magic is back in Flushing!

On Saturday, the Mets and the Nationals face off for game two of this three-game weekend series at Citi Field. Noah Syndergaard (8-5, 3.96 ERA) will be taking the hill against lefty Patrick Corbin (9-5, 3.43 ERA).
