1962: The Mets became the first team in MLB history to win a doubleheader with walk-off home runs in the ninth inning of both games against the Milwaukee Braves. The first home run was from Hobie Landrith to give the Mets a 3-2 win and the second home run was from Gil Hodges to give the Mets an 8-7 win.
