Good morning, Mets fans!

On Friday night, the New York Mets (53-56) broke their seven-game win streak as they suffered a tough loss to the Pittsburgh Pirates (48-61) and fell three games below .500, and five games out of the Wild Card.

On Saturday, the Mets and Pirates face off for game two of this three-game weekend series in Pittsburgh. Marcus Stroman (6-11, 2.96 ERA) will be making his Mets debut against Chris Archer (3-8 5.58 ERA).

Hopefully, Stroman does better than his fellow Long Island native, Steven Matz, did on the mound Friday night. The first pitch is scheduled for 7:05 p.m. and can be seen on SNY.  Let’s go Mets!
