Noah Syndergaard left Sunday’s 23-5 loss to Washington after just 1.1 innings of work due to what is being called a “possible lat strain.” The Mets ace is scheduled to have an MRI this morning to find out the extent of the injury and how long he may be out for. After refusing an MRI this past week, it surely did not look good for the pitcher or the organization on how he has been handled.
