Good morning, Mets fans!

After a tough 7-0 loss to the Cardinals, the Mets will look to bounce back in Game 2 of the series on Tuesday night at Citi Field. New York will send righty Marcus Stroman (9-12, 2.87 ERA) out to the bump to face off against St. Louis right-hander Jake Woodford (2-3, 4.28 ERA).

First pitch is set for 7:10 p.m. and can be seen on WPIX. The game will also be broadcast on WCBS 880 and WQBU 92.7.

Per manager Luis Rojas, recovering pitchers Jacob deGrom and Noah Syndergaard have made progress in recent days. deGrom threw from 90 feet out Monday afternoon at Citi Field and is expected to throw from the mound later this week. Syndergaard threw off the mound again today and is scheduled to face live batters later this week.

Howie Rose, the play-by-play voice of the Mets on WCBS 880, gave fans an update via Twitter on his recovery process:

Guests 12 and older will be required to show proof of at least one dose of the COVID-19 vaccine enter indoor restaurants at Citi Field, the Mets announced on Monday. Proof of a negative COVID-19 test does not replace the new requirement.
