Saturday, the Mets defeated the Dodgers 3-0 in the second game of their three-game series at Citi Field. Jacob deGrom had another marvelous start, lasting seven innings, giving up just three hits and collecting eight strike outs. Seth Lugo and Justin Wilson finished the game, with the latter collecting the save.
Rajai Davis supplied all of the team’s offense, coming off the bench to hit a bases-clearing three-run double.
Today, the Mets face the Dodgers in a pivotal rubber game. Zack Wheeler will face off against Walker Buehler. The game will be televised on ESPN at 7 p.m. EST.
