Good morning, Mets fans!

In the eighth inning, Harrison Bader drilled a two-run double off Aroldis Chapman, and Edwin Díaz tossed a scoreless ninth inning to secure a 6-3 victory, bringing the Mets to the .500 mark for the first time this season. Since starting 0-5, the Mets have won eight of their last 11 games. For Díaz, it was his 100th save as a Met, and he’s now just one save behind Billy Wagner for fifth all-time in franchise history.
