Good Morning Mets fans!

The New York Mets (39-49) suffered a 7-2 loss to their division rivals the Philadelphia Phillies (46-42). Jacob deGrom had a solid outing, only giving up two runs in seven innings. However, the Mets offense and dreadful bullpen let deGrom down once again.

On Saturday, the Mets will continue to host the Philadelphia Phillies with game two of the three-game homestand tonight at Citi Field. First pitch is scheduled for 7:15 p.m. and the game can be seen on FOX.
