Michael Wacha (1-0, 1.80 ERA) won his Mets debut after pitching five innings on 77 pitches and giving up one run on five hits.

On Tuesday, the Mets and Red Sox will face off for the second game of the set. Lefty Matt Hall (0-0, 0.00 ERA) will take the mound for the Red Sox and the Mets’ starter has yet to be announced.
