Good Morning, Mets fans!
New York City mayor Bill de Blasio announced yesterday, while fully donned in Mets regalia, that Citi Field would become a mass vaccination site for city residents. Vaccines would start being administered at the park on January 25. De Blasio said they’d be able to vaccinate 5,000 to 7,000 people per day at the stadium.
Following suit with the Mets and Los Angeles Dodgers, it’s expected the Boston Red Sox will announce Fenway Park will become a vaccination site for Boston residents, too.
Now let’s get into the morning briefing.
