Good morning Mets fans! The Mets have named their manager (again) and it’s quality control coach Luis Rojas!

The 38-year-old Rojas is said to very popular in the clubhouse and was being groomed by the organization to become a big-league manager.

Rojas, son of former MLB manager and player Felipe Alou and brother to former Met and big league outfielder Moises Alou, managed the St. Lucie Mets and Binghamton Rumble Ponies in the team’s minor league system from 2015-2018. During this time, he managed an array of current roster mainstays in Pete Alonso, Jeff McNeil, Steven Matz, Michael Conforto, Brandon Nimmo, Robert Gsellman, among others.
