The Mets were able to split the series against the Padres this weekend as Jacob deGrom has continued his dominance and the offense has begun to wake up.
Infielder Luis Guillorme is inching his way closer to re-joining the club. He played five innings in the field for Triple-A Syracuse. He previously played in three innings each of his first two games.

The Phillies had quite a day on Sunday, including having the protective netting at its stadium, collapse during the eighth inning.
The Orioles placed starting pitcher John Means on the injured list with a left shoulder strain and recalled pitcher Zac Lowther.

Buster Olney of ESPN said the Yankees are extremely close to going over the luxury tax threshold and they may not be willing to take on any money at the deadline. If they do make a move, they will need a team to pay the entire salary.
