According to Daniel Alvarez Montes of El Extrabase, the Los Angeles Angels are set to add infielder and former Met Luis Guillorme from the Atlanta Braves. According to Ken Rosenthal of The Athletic, trade talks surrounding Oakland Athletics’ flame-throwing closer Mason Miller are heating up, with several teams expressing interest. However, the A’s are standing firm on their high asking price. A source within the organization reveals that no team has come close to meeting their quota. Miller is their best player at the moment and any potential deal for him would likely require a significant return, possibly involving a young player of similar caliber or a package of multiple promising prospects who could contribute to the A’s future success.

Jon Heyman of the New York Post notes that the Miami Marlins are not done offloading players after the team moved Luis Arraez to San Diego. Heyman notes that players such as Jesus Luzardo, Jake Burger, Josh Bell, and Tanner Scott could be out the door soon.
