Good morning, Mets fans!
Kodai Senga has shared some encouraging news regarding his hamstring injury.
Before the start of Monday’s game, Senga told reporters that his hamstring is feeling “great.” Along with that, he also said that he will be throwing off the mound on Monday with “decent intensity”.
On June 1, Senga was placed on the 15-day injured list due to a low-grade hamstring strain. Prior to his injury, Senga maintained a remarkable 1.47 ERA, which stands as the league’s best mark for pitchers who have accumulated more than 70 innings pitched.
