Good Morning, Mets fans!

Today is a great day because Jacob deGrom (3-1, 1.69 ERA) steps on the hill once again to face Blue Jays RHP Chase Anderson (0-0, 4.94 ERA). This is the first game of the Mets series against Toronto which is taking place in Buffalo, New York due to the inability to play in Toronto.

In their last game, the Mets had a spectacular win against the Orioles with Thursday being a rare off day for the team. Luis Rojas has expressed that deGrom will be pitching every fifth day, no matter when the team’s off days are.

In the pitcher’s last outing, deGrom allowed one earned run over seven innings pitched against the Phillies.

This outing brought his ERA down, making him the National League leader and. only behind Indians RHP Shane Bieber. who is the current MLB leader with a 1.25 ERA.

The game is set to begin at 6:37 PM EST, will be televised on SNY and can be heard on WCBS 880 AM.
