Good Morning Mets Fans!

Today is David Wright‘s 36th Birthday. As many of us know, due to chronic health issues, Wright played his final game in 2018. However, in the 12 years, he was a Met, he established himself as one of the best players in franchise history, ranking first among all-time Mets in at-bats, runs, hits, doubles, RBI’s and walks while finishing second in WAR and home runs.

Wright still holds a special place in every Mets’ fans heart. His classy demeanor, his confident leadership, and his clutch hitting will be remembered and dearly missed. This day’s for you, Captain!
