The major news broke last night when Joel Sherman of the New York Post reported that Alex Anthopolous will be the next general manager of the Atlanta Braves. Anthopolous was previously the GM of the Toronto Blue Jays. He made several big trades such as acquiring Troy Tulowitzki and David Price as well as sending Noah Syndergaard and Travis d’Arnaud to the Mets in exchange for R.A. Dickey.
