Jacob deGrom started off Saturday’s game against the Phillies dominating and Edwin Díaz closed out the shutout. He earned his 200th career save. In doing so, the Mets extended their lead over Philadelphia to 10.5 games. The lead over Atlanta is 5.5 games.

Per SNY’s Jacob Resnick, Tommy Hunter is scheduled to be with Double-A Binghamton on a rehab assignment. This after being placed on the injured list with back tightness back on August 6th.

Michael Mayer of Metsmerized noted on Twitter Saturday night that Jacob deGrom set a major-league record with 22 straight home starts without allowing more than two earned runs in each of those 22 starts.
