Good Morning Mets Fans. The Metropolitans (1-0) get back at it tonight as they continue their series with the Atlanta Braves (0-1).

Jacob deGrom will make his 2017 regular season debut and will be opposed by former beloved Met, Bartolo Colon. Tonight’s game is scheduled for a 7:10 PM ET start and can be seen on SNY as well as heard on 710 WOR.

The Mets received some somber news regarding pitcher, Seth Lugo on Tuesday. He has been diagnosed with a UCL tear and will avoid surgery for now. Lugo was treated with a PRP injection and prescribed rest for the next two weeks before beginning a throwing program. Surgery is still a possibility at this point, it will depend on how his body recovers from the prescribed treatment. Read more from Joe D on MMO.
