David Stearns

Good morning, Mets fans!

Jon Heyman of the New York Post briefly discusses the possibility of Brewers baseball president David Stearns being interested in the same position for the New York Mets.

Stearns, who is from New York, is believed to be interested in the Met’s top job and has many thinking that he will utilize and out in his contract, where Milwaukee reaches the NLCS, to make this happen. Stearns and the Mets have been linked for some time and although team owner Steve Cohen seems satisfied with the results from GM Billy Eppler, it is believed that the team will take a look at Stearns once he becomes available.

Now onto the morning briefing!
