Good morning, Mets fans! Tonight, the New York Mets will take on the New York Yankees at 7:05 p.m. Jacob deGrom will square off against Sonny Gray in what should be a good pitching matchup.

Last night, the Mets suffered a late inning loss. Rafael Montero pitched well, but Mets offense only got two runs on solo home runs by Curtis Granderson and Yoenis Cespedes.

The New York Yankees countered with three home runs including a pair from youngsters Gary Sanchez and Aaron Judge.

Still, looking forward to next season, it was nice to see Montero make positive strides.
