Good morning, Mets fans!

The Mariners took the top spot in Baseball America’s farm system rankings as they have five players ranked in Baseball America’s top 100 including potential future star outfielder Julio Rodriguez. This is a huge change from the 2018 rankings which had the Mariners in last place.

Also, the Mets were ranked 16th which is a four spot increase over the 2021 rankings. The Mets have strengthened their farm system since their ranking of 24th in 2020 to position themselves as the highest-ranked farm system in the NL East. John Sheridan has more on this story.

Now it is time for the morning briefing.
