Friday, the Astros defeated the Nationals by a score of 4-1. Both teams’ starters did not last long, with Zack Greinke lasting 4.2 innings and Anibal Sanchez lasting 5.1 innings. Greinke only gave up one run on seven hits, collecting six strikeouts. Sanchez gave up four runs on ten hits, ultimately getting the loss in the game.

Michael Brantley drove in two runs for the Astros with two RBI singles. Robinson Chirinos hit a solo home run and Josh Reddick supplied the fourth run with a sacrifice fly.

Today, the Astros look to even up the series against the Nationals in Washington, DC. The game will be on FOX at 8:07 EST.
