Good morning, Mets fans! Today, the New York Mets will continue their series against the Washington Nationals. Robert Gsellman will take on Gio Gonzalez at 4:05 p.m.

Last night was a nice win from the Mets, but of course, it didn’t come seamlessly. Jacob deGrom was dominant and the Mets offense gave him enough to shut the door, but La Potencia was injured in the process. deGrom reached 200 strikeouts for the second time in his career. AJ Ramos made things interesting to say the least in the ninth. He loaded the bases with one out in a 4-2 game but got out of the jam to seal the win for New York.
